Skilled Nursing Services
Northridge Care Center provides skilled nursing services delivered by licensed nursing professionals. Nursing services are available 24 hours a day with RN supervision and are provided in accordance with physician orders and clinical assessments.
Skilled nursing services may include monitoring of medical conditions, medication administration, wound care, post-operative support, restorative nursing, catheter care, enteral feeding support, IV therapy, and pain management coordination.
Care is provided through an interdisciplinary team approach, with communication among nursing staff, physicians, therapists, residents, and families as appropriate.
Services include
24-Hour Nursing Services with RN Supervision
Licensed nursing staff are available 24 hours a day to provide nursing services, monitoring, and coordination of care based on physician orders and resident assessments.
Wound Care
Wound care services are provided by licensed nursing staff and may include assessment, treatment, dressing changes, and ongoing monitoring as ordered by a physician.
IV Therapy & Antibiotic Administration
IV therapy and antibiotic administration are available under physician orders and provided by licensed nursing professionals, with appropriate monitoring as clinically indicated.
Enteral Feeding Program
Enteral feeding support is available for residents requiring nutritional assistance through feeding tubes, in coordination with nursing and dietary teams.
Catheter Care
Catheter care services are provided by licensed nursing staff in accordance with physician orders and clinical guidelines.
Restorative Nursing
Restorative nursing services support residents in maintaining functional abilities through supervised activities and daily care routines as appropriate.
Pain Management
Pain management services are coordinated through the interdisciplinary care team and provided based on physician orders, which may include medication management and nursing monitoring.
Post-Operative Care
Post-operative nursing services include monitoring, wound care, medication administration, mobility assistance, and coordination with rehabilitation services following surgery.
